My name is Bassam, but my friends also call me Bob. I am a 21-year-old videographer, Syrian, living in a refugee camp in Lebanon. Growing up as the eldest of my family with five sisters and two brothers, I would describe myself as a social, energetic, and patient person.
I like adventures involving exploration, such as going to places far away and walking at night. However, I have never traveled. If given the opportunity, I would like to travel to America, Canada, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain, and France. My dream is to migrate to another country where I could live in peace and have stability, away from wars.
I arrived in Lebanon in 2013 when I was 12 years old. Education was not always easy to access; the internet and social media were crucial for me to find studying opportunities. After applying and successfully passing the selection, I got accepted into a cinema course called “Action for Hope.” My coach saw a talent in me and encouraged me to go further with my passion. My life motto is: love what you do, to do what you love!
