Estonian Refugee Council is launching the Estonian Refugee Forum, an informal representative body comprising the beneficiaries of international protection. The forum is designed to empower people with refugee background to advocate for their communities and collectively address their concerns.

We are issuing a call for applications to identify up to 25 beneficiaries of international protection (beneficiaries of refugee status, temporary protection and subsidiary protection) from across Estonia who are eager to actively represent their communities' interests. If you desire to participate in decisions that affect you and uphold the principle of "nothing about me without me,” while striving for Estonia to be an inclusive place for all, we encourage you to apply.

Up to 25 representatives will be selected from the applicants who will engage in a relevant training programme. With the support by the Estonian Refugee Council, they will meet regularly to assess refugee needs, pinpoint service gaps, and work together to find solutions.

The application deadline is April 24.
