Estonian Refugee Council and Unity for the Future have launched a cash assistance programme to support Ukrainians affected by the war.

We are supporting various target groups in the following oblasts: Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad. 

Cash assistance is provided based on a vulnerability assessment that is done on an individual basis. Vulnerability assessment is taking place during a call with a consultant. Examples of the vulnerabilities that we take into account are: loss of the main breadwinner, loss or damage of home, disability or chronic illness, single-parent households, women-headed households, households with minors, newborns, pregnant or lactating women, elderly, etc. The assistance decision is based on the information provided by the applicant and is made by the consultant.

If the decision on your application is positive, the amount of assistance is 2220 UAH per person for 1 or 3 months (depending on the oblast). The assistance amount is limited by 5 household members. The cash assistance amount will be transferred to the bank account specified by you.
