Sandra grew up in Tallinn, but has moved to the countryside for her children’s wellbeing. She loves changes and working on several projects simultaneously. Joined the volunteer team in March, she gives information in Estonian via the help-line once a week. Staying active helps Sandra keep her mind calm and spirits high: „I like to think that I balance the energy of the universe with goodness.“
She has a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, but works in catering. Her passion is cooking vegan food and she shares her own recipes on her Facebook page Kükitav Mannatera. When the war started, she made birthday cakes for the children of the refugees in Estonia at her expense to make their big day a little brighter.
Sandra describes herself as a selfish volunteer who, in addition to contributing to society, enjoys being involved in the colorful society of the Estonian Refugee Council and the opportunity to get out of the home routine.
